Hello, my name is Courtney. Along with now teaching Sunday School, I am a student teacher for the preschool program at my school. I have a passion for education. I am very eager to start working with the Sunday School program! I can't wait to make memories and watch the children and our church family grow.
Hello, my name is Brittany. I am 28 years old. I am currently a preschool teacher at a daycare in Belvidere. I have worked with children for over 10 years. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy watching movies and reading. I am honored to have this opportunity to become the Sunday school teacher. I look forward to getting to know you and your children.
A new group of young people are beginning their time of study in preparation for confirmation. Classes are held the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month while service projects and outside projects vary. Please continue to pray for our young people as they take more active roles in our church family. .

On March 10th @ 5:00 pm, Women's Fellowship will be hosting their Annual Supper and Bake Sale Auction in Fellowship Hall. Bring a baked good to be auctioned off after supper. Mark you calendars for this exciting event!
Women's Fellowship meets regularly on the second Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Come and join us!
On Saturday, October 14 we had the opportunity to go to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Road, Belvidere and work with "Feed My Starving Children". This project was for our confirmation students as well as anyone else from the church. Immanuel Lutheran Church was also asking that each participant bring a non-perishable item for the local food bank.
M.O.R.E. serves approximately 329 families/approximately 1160 people per month with the facility open on Wednesdays from 9:00- 12:00, and Thursdays 4:00-6:00. Volunteers play a very important part in the operation of the M.O.R.E. If interested in volunteering, do not hesitate to talk to me, or feel free to call Bob Botts, our executive director at 815-568-7950.

January's pantry served 36 families, 157 people, 62 children & 8 seniors. Due to a snow storm, Monday's distribution was very light.
The needs for March are: crackers, cookies, bisquick & muffin mixes, sugar, flour, baking items, pasta & diapers sizes 4 & 5. All donations are welcome. Again, thank you for your support.
